I am so excited to begin this amazing journey with you! Before we get started here's a snap shot / overview of what you can expect at Laidiecloth U. In this course students learn the basic skills for dressmaking, including a brief history of the industry, fashion illustration, design tools, fabric sourcing design and construction. The goal of these lessons is to learn the fundamentals of dressmaking in a comprehensive easy to follow way. As well as explore the wonderful world of fashion through its rich history. At the end participants will gain the knowledge required to complete a simple technical and elegant trapeze dress from scratch.
